She had two younger sisters, Louisa Grace Hyne Petherbridge, and Lydia Overton Petherbridge.
Her mother Louisa died in 1833. Her father Ebenezer died in 1838.
After her parents died, she lived with her mother’s aunts, Mary and Susanna Hyne in Plymouth, Devon, England, according to both the 1841 census and 1851 census .
Marriage and Family
On November 10, 1852, she married William Henry Mugford, Esquire, Paymaster, Royal Navy.
