Louisa Caruthers (Hyne) Farr was born August 15, 1877 in Rainham township, Haldimand country, Ontario, Canada. She was the daughter of William Harry Hyne and Louisa (Bier).
Louisa moved to the Buffalo/Erie county area of New York in the United States around 1895.
She married Arthur W. Farr around 1896. Together they had two children, Harold W. Farr (around 1898) and Grace M. (Farr) Frey (around 1902).
Arthur passed away sometime between the 1930 and 1940 US censuses. In the 1940 census, Louisa is living with daughter Grace and her husband Thomas S. Frey.
