Harry Hyne (1850-1918)

Birth and Childhood

Harry Hyne was born circa 1850 in Middlesex (London), England. He was the sixth child of Charles Hyne and Louisa Hole Carruthers.

In the 1851 England, Wales & Scotland census, Harry and two of his older brothers William Harry and Richard Harry are visitors in the home of Jane Bousfield and her brother Frederick.

In the 1861 England, Wales & Scotland census Harry and his brother Richard Harry are studying under Thomas Cox, former headmaster of Queen Elizabeth School.

Career

Harry was a pharmaceutical chemist, what we might call a pharmacist today.

Marriage and Family

On October 11, 1879 Harry married Emma Rebecca Smith in London.

Emma Rebecca and Harry had four children together: Harry Everett, Charles Carruthers, Noel and Grace Isabel.

Emma Rebecca died on April 6, 1900. She was 45 years old.

On April 11, 1907 Harry married his second wife, Clara Louise Hinde.

On January 4, 1909, Clara Louise gave birth to her only child with Harry, Laurence Capper.
